The Bath House is an historic building, constructed in the 1920’s and originally served to provide bathing facilities for the local residents. When in the 1970’s it was decided that the facility was no longer required, the building was handed over to the Bath House Association, a new charity, to run it as a community building. Since then, it has been home to many local organisations, and is currently used during the day by Lifecraft, a local self-help mental health charity, and in the evening and weekends by local groups requiring convenient and affordable meeting space.

Should your organisation or group require meeting space in the evenings or weekends, please use the ‘contact us’ page on this site to get in touch. Our hall can seat up to 20 people comfortably but kitchen facilities are not available. Other parts of the building are used during the evening so noise has to be kept to a minimum. Please note that we are not suitable for parties, and do not have performing/entertainment licence.
